Not my favorite “couple” or “romance” of the series so far, but I really enjoyed the plot points and all the action. What happened to lead into the next book (if you know you know) was really shocking and made me what to keep going so I’ll be picking up book 4 in no time.

While I won’t say this is my favorite of the books so far, it’s really the most heartwarming. Rukh was a hard character to love, but he got there. Really the best parts of the book were all after the 1 year time skip, before that I was just getting through it… and after I was enjoying it the entire time. Even cried during Rukh’s internal monologue during the big hunt, it was beautiful to see him working things out in his head and really acting on his realization and emotions.

I like Harlow’s character a lot, she’s feisty but not as snarky and bad tempered as Liz, and she’s really smart but she’s also empathetic and in touch with her own emotions. Her empathy being what brings her closer to Rukh is the best, much better than just the khui’s insistence on sex being the driving force for their relationship. Like she wants to have sex with him for a while… but waits until the right moment, which in my opinion was the absolute right moment. Their bond was beautiful.

I really just likes the stories about the pregnancies… Georgie specifically. Claire’s romance is cute and all and her standing up to Bek was good, but I just wasn’t… great. I much prefer the other books because while I love romance and hot alien sex, I like when the story evolves and we see more of the world and how the character’s act in it. The holiday stuff was fun, but there wasn’t much of it and it got boring after a while.

I seem to be among the others who enjoy the concept of the story and the male lead… but struggle to really like the female lead. Claudia and her story are interesting, I like how steadfast and strong and sassy she is, but the wishy washy nature of her is irritating. Plus all the repeating… over and over again, the same things, her sister, her friend, dragons are the enemy, blah blah blah… so annoying. It’s like it’s just there to increase the word count.

I’m going to pick up the next book because in curious if having a different lead will warm me to the story more. Ruby Dixon is so great at writing sex scenes, they’re undeniably steamy, so I want so badly to enjoy this the same way I enjoyed the Ice Planet series.

This one dealt with Tiffany’s trauma very well, probably the best I’ve seen a book deal with it. I love the fact that her cootie wouldn’t sing until she finally accepted things herself, knowing that’s exactly what she needed. Salukh was fantastic, so patient and considerate, it’s no wonder Tiffany fell for him. This is near the top of my favorites of the series so far, really really loved it!

Really 4.7 ⭐️ out of 5, nearly perfect book!

Reading other reviews I thought I’d find a lot of people living for this one because of how complex the story and the characters were, and while people love it, for some reason a lot of people really hate Josie.

This one was really great, dealt with Lila’s deafness beautifully and Rokan is a GOD of a male lead. We thank you Ruby Dixon for another great book!

This one was so good!

The romance, top notch! The sex, excellent! The character growth, I’m here for it!

Even though it hurt, I did really like the twist and I’m excited to see where things go from here!

It’s good, not my favorite, but good. I skipped through a little, not really caring about every little line, but enjoyed the story none the less.
