I seem to be among the others who enjoy the concept of the story and the male lead… but struggle to really like the female lead. Claudia and her story are interesting, I like how steadfast and strong and sassy she is, but the wishy washy nature of her is irritating. Plus all the repeating… over and over again, the same things, her sister, her friend, dragons are the enemy, blah blah blah… so annoying. It’s like it’s just there to increase the word count.

I’m going to pick up the next book because in curious if having a different lead will warm me to the story more. Ruby Dixon is so great at writing sex scenes, they’re undeniably steamy, so I want so badly to enjoy this the same way I enjoyed the Ice Planet series.
