It was one of those books that I saw a video on TikTok hyping I thought it sounded good and picked up and finally started reading it. It ended up being really good and hard to put down, but it is a tragic love story that spans over decades of Maddie and Hendrix's lives. It is a standalone and does end with an HEA, but we go through so much with these two to get to that point. Even though it is a standalone some things were looking back that I wish were expanded a little bit more such as what all happened during those 6 years, they were apart. Especially with Hendrix since he was the one that was wrapped up in his father's issues and we ultimately don't see that side of the story I really wish we got to at least have flashbacks to that time and how he handled it because even though they were apart for 6 years it sounds like he was able to start looking for her after a few months and I just needed some of that actually shown versus told about.

What the heck!?! So, I knew going into this series was the last book and I was expecting it to wrap the story up since it came out in 2023, but it doesn’t do that. If anything, it starts more issues since we finally know who’s behind a lot of chaos from the previous book but then we just end. It just kind of makes me mad after so much work put into reading this series for it to just end like this and then there’s no closure for a lot of the big things. I would say there was probably another book or two planned but just never ended up happening, and it’s been over a year since this one came out.

I'm getting burnt out on this story, but I really want to know how it is all going to wrap up. I just don't see everything getting answered in the next book since it is on the shorter side compared to the other books and we just have so many things that I need closure on! Anyway, I really liked this one, especially compared to the previous book. But it is still following the same format since we have the first half being at the camp and the second half out and about. I just wish we had a little bit more cohesion between the two. But here we meet Nolan, and I love him and Ari. I really hope he ends up with Sylvia but also, we are kind of surviving and it's the apocalypse and I'm just kind of ready to maybe lose some people. Plus, I still hate that we're only one POV since this harem keeps getting bigger and bigger.

I think this one was an easy read and had a lot of ups but there were quite a few downs for me. I just don't think in the long run it was going to be that memorable for me. I didn't hate this book and really liked where we were going. I just think we got a little lost in the mess in the end.

The story overall has potential and I'm curious to see where it is going but this one does get a little rough. I liked the beginning; it had a strong start. But the romance/steam just took over a little too fast and I wish we had more tension. Or the tension at least lasted longer. Especially since this is book 1 of a series. The timeline also kind of throws me off between the books too and I ended up DNF'ing and abandoning the series with the second book.

I think this one is my favorite between this trilogy and the previous trilogy. It just felt like things flowed a lot better in this one, and it was just a good time. This one does get a little steam heavy but overall, it's not terrible and an addictive read. I really need to reread the psychos trilogy and continue on in this world.

I liked what this one added to the story, but I wish there was a little bit more of the mystery side. I really loved how the first book we were constantly questioning everything that happened. But here we're kind of more focused on the relationship forming and the parental rights over Rory then we have Zye's back. It's just a bunch of things going on here and I just wanted a little bit more time on the mystery side.

I loved this one! Not only was it a solid start to the trilogy but it really gives off the whole cannot trust anyone’s vibes. It was so hard to put down and I cannot wait to see where the next book takes us.

I think this one was a good start to a new omegaverse world, but I wanted a little bit more of the mafia world here. I kind of feel like it got overshadowed by the family drama and medical content. However, I think the family drama could've been really interesting if it spread out throughout the whole book. We have a lot of her parents being terrible in the beginning but after she's kidnapped from the wedding, we really don't see them again and I just feel like there would've been a little bit more drama with that. I'm still really interested in the next book and this world even though this one wasn't a 5-star read for me I still liked it overall.

I got where this one was coming from and at its roots, I liked what the story was trying to do. But in the execution, I felt like things were a bit too rushed and I wanted things to slow down, build up suspense, and have more drama in here. I wanted the shock thing to be a bigger role. I don't think it was terrible I just don't think it worked for me.
