I spent about 99% of this confused as fuck and the remaining part raging that this series went so far downhill after the first book. Not going to even bother with the forthcoming one, I’ve had enough.

Just a big, giant YES to everything about this book. It’s everything I love to see in horror and more. Can’t recommend this one enough! I think it might be my fave Tremblay I’ve read so far actually.

Anything dream related and I’m jumping in head first! And I’m so glad I did because this story was bloody brilliant. It had its claws hooked in me from the beginning and once I started reading I couldn’t stop. Highly recommend this one!

I’ve been fascinated by this case since studying it in college and I will greedily devour anything I can get my hands on concerning the subject. This is by far one of the most complete and easy to read ones I’ve crossed. It flows and it’s smooth and tells the story from beginning to end without any unnecessary additions and that’s something I truly appreciated. Highly recommend this one!

I’ve heard such rave reviews for this one but it just left me feeling meh. I was expecting all the culty vibes and didn’t exactly get what I was expecting. Not to diminish anyone’s experiences but this one wasn’t what I was hoping for.

Just ALL the yes to this book! I was instantly hooked and couldn’t turn the pages fast enough, the story was just freaking fantastic. And I loved the formatting too, that’s always something that draws me in more. It’s creepy and it’s gory and it’s just downright excellent, really can’t recommend this one highly enough!

Normally I’m pretty iffy on short story collections because usually it’s a lot of misses with very few hits but I’m glad to say this one was the opposite! I don’t know if it was the theme that made the stories so good but I’m not questioning it too much because I thoroughly enjoyed this 80s horror themed anthology.
