This was a super fun Field Guide and I definitely prefer it over Cats of the Clans. Minus one star for some of the series' worst continuity mistakes though. Tigerstar was killed by... "Blood"? Riiiighhhtt...

This was very cute. I wasn't expecting it to be told from Rocks eyes and to a bunch of StarClan kits, but I liked that approach a lot. Its kind of like a shorter, different version of the Ultimate Guide, overall a nice companion book for collectors.

I love Tallstar, his quest to seek vengeance is really believable, and despite him being in the wrong you can't help but be sympathetic. Also, TallJake is real.

This one was so emotional and amazing. I even prefer it over Bluestar's Prophecy. I felt like the pacing was a lot better, and I felt like this books side characters were a lot more interesting and fun. Learning about Yellowfang and Brokenstar's backstories is absolutely heartbreaking. I also love Raggedstar, he's flawed as hell but he manages to stay really really likable to me because his own story is so sad too. It doesn't excuse his actions, but you understand his anger over Yellowfang's choices, even though he could try harder to understand them. I also found the first Warriors character I genuinely dislike, that being Foxheart. She's such a prick but her scenes are so fun to read, she has no right to be as mean as she is! I also love Russetfur, she's my baby.

God I love this one so much. This book contains many of the iconic scenes fans know and love, like
Silverstreams death, Tigerclaws murder attempt and Brokentails death.
It's been amazing to reread these books and I forgot how genuinely emotional this one gets.

Bluestar literally makes me want to weep and curl myself up into a ball. Everything about her situation is tragic. Fans will say she's the worst cat ever but I will always disagree and I will always fight for her. Yes she has made horrible decisions, but most of the time she did there was no easy answer. I love her, its heartbreaking.

Definitely a classic in the series. It's really short but super impactful and gave Scourge his infamous popularity. Some of the BloodClan cats are really stupid though, how did they believe all that in the beginning?

The classic ending to the first arc. Reading about Scourge for the first time back in the day must've been crazy for many fans and I understand how his fanon depictions became the way they are. He's such a little edgelord <3

Also,
Tigerstar's death stays horrifying

This is probably where the series peaks so far. Every major plot point in this book is chilling, highly emotional and absolutely terrifying. The slow realization of the truth is crazy well-written.
Swiftpaw and Bluestar will be missed, but I forgot that we never actually see their deaths from their perspective. After years and years of watching animations, you'd think that were the case.
Regardless, this was amazing. I can't wait to get to The Darkest Hour.
