Yellowfang's death
will forever be heartbreaking. This is a really strong book, I honestly forgot what this one was about specifically but once I realized I got pretty excited.
The forest fire scene is super tense, I actually really enjoy Cloudpaw's character and reading about Bluestar's degrading mental health is always chilling to the bone.
Yes this book is kind of a filler to prepare for A Dangerous Path and to process the ending of Forest of Secrets, but the slow buildup of the climax and the great character interactions more than make up to it for it to me.

A very solid second entry in this infinitely long book series. Reading Fireheart and Sandstorm's blossoming friendship has been very cute and while the depiction of disabled characters in this series is definitely questionable I do really love Cinderpaw. She deserves so much better! Her and Yellowfangs friendship are very cute and I can't wait to read more of them. Yellowfang is so sweet to her, I love it.

Where it all began. Still such a classic, relaxing and fun story that chilled little old me to the bone back in the day. I would die for Yellowfang and Ravenpaw.

Had to read this for school, but I've been wanting to read this for ages. I always love a good animal story and this was really chilling and tense to read through. The short length works really well and the metaphors are crazy.

I've always been interested in this book, telling myself I'd read it later, but I finally caved after I watched the BBC adaptation, followed by the old movie.

This book is truly something special, and while the depiction of the does is sometimes somewhat questionable, the worldbuilding and characters still hold up after so many years.

Bigwig and Fiver will forever stay in my heart, I can't wait to buy the graphic novel when I get the chance.
