This was probably the weakest part of this short series, but it was still very cute and comforting to read! Greystripe was kind of a dick at times, but I really liked Diesel. Eyebrows for days.

Very cute! I really liked Moss, Husker, Splash and the kits. Somehow, I have a feeling the dog bilingualism will never be brought up again in the main series, but that remains to be seen. Millie continues to be adorable.

Really solid and cute. This manga is so well illustrated and it's just so charming to read.

This was a really solid conclusion to the second series.
Firestar accepting Graystripe's death and the death of Hawkfrost are definitely the highlight, but there's a lot to love.
I miss when Russetfur was cool, it's like the writers forgot about her own past when Russet talks about ThunderClan the way she does. Girlie, you weren't Clanborn either..

It's the Crowpool book! A lot of what I said about Starlight applies here too, I really like Crowpool despite its unexpected beginning. Also Brambleclaw is a huge asshole in the majority of this book's chapters, get out of cat hell boy it's not good for you. Really like how dark the ending of this one is,
Sootfurs death is brutal.

Really enjoyed this one! Some parts were less exciting than others, but there's a lot to love in this book. Squirrelflight is great in this, and
while her arguments with Brambleclaw could be solved instantly if they just communicated better,  both of their perspectives are very believable. I also love Crowfeather, he's my little angst baby. The start to Crowpool in this book was really emotional and cute, even though it kinda developed from thin air, and I love how Leafpool was simply pretending she didn't have feelings for him. I also completely forgot Leafpool was the one to discover the Moonpool in the first place, earning her her full name and the suffix -pool. That's so cute and I can't believe I forgot. The fight with Mudclaw was also great, and I genuinely love how manipulative Hawkfrost is from the start. (Already knowing what's coming.) Squirrelflight's in the right but you can't blame poor Brambleclaw either. Very interesting read! Can't wait for Crowpool to break my heart next book. Also, Mothwing is a slaytheist!!! Lets go girlie!

This is probably my favourite book in The New Prophecy so far. There were some parts that dragged, but the good parts in this one are REALLY good to me, like the general journey and
Crowpaw's suicidal behavior
which caught me so off guard. I also really liked Ferncloud, Cody and the Tribe in this.

The New Prophecy was my least favourite arc as a child, so I was less than excited to get to it now. To my surprise, this is actually pretty fun! I always thought this arc dragged a lot, with too much traveling with too little happening, but it's actually been nice to get away from the usual territory for a bit. I did however agree with young me once we got around to meeting Purdy. A lot of chapters were dedicated to navigating the enormous Twolegplace they had to cross and after a while it became boring to read "the red, stone Twolegplace dens" over and over. I really like
Midnight
though, I hope to learn more about her. It's very unexpected from StarClan and I'm wondering about their history.

Also, you can't tell me Leafpaw doesn't have a Sapphic little crush on Mothwing, they're too cute and their interactions got me through the slower parts of this book.

I really liked this one! I actually really like The New Prophecy cast and as I said in my review of Midnight, it used to be my least favourite as a kid. I'm not sure if I'll agree by the end of this journey, but so far it's been fun.
Feathertail's death is the first death that has gotten me close to crying,
and I barely cry reading books!!
Something about that callback to Crowpaw about not having to save him again??? OUCH.
I also like the Tribe of Rushing Water a lot because they're so desperate that it tains their actions and it's super interesting to me. Brook is the absolute babygirl though, I love her. She genuinely meant well from the start you can't blame her, she just wanted the best for everyone involved.

I liked this one. I especially like how the book admits to the code being flawed and hurting individuals, but ultimately keeping larger groups safe. It's an interesting read and I thought Badgerfang and the one about the kits were the most impactful <3
