Eso es la familia, un sitio donde te dan techo y comida a cambio de estar atrapada con un puñaíco de vivos y otro de muertos. Todas las familias tienen a sus muertos debajo de las camas, es solo que nosotras vemos a los muertos, eso decía mi madre.

Una historia tan corta como poderosa, con crítica social de la España rural que se entreteje con lo paranormal en esta casa en la que las sombras son tan densas que hasta puedes verlas rehuyendo bajo la cama. Muy recomendado.

so tightly written, covers just the right range of people and happenings to remain engrossing and hermetic. utterly chilling and the slow burn reveal of the mysteries at the book's core worked really well. found myself wanting slightly more from the ending (though maybe it just subverted my expectations) but really enjoyed this and such an impressively distinct and authoritative voice for a first novel
