I really wish we had a little bit more of the comedic side. I mean the whole premise is the bride is running away from her wedding. We see her and the MMC meet when he is saving her from the side of the road while in her wedding dress after wrecking her car! They have a kind of a whole interest in each other but can't be together the whole time because she's his teammate's sister PLUS literally just ran away from her own wedding. Meanwhile, she's like he's my brother's teammate and they're all off limits. But that comedic/tension kind of disappears real quick and it just took on more of a small-town vibe and I just wanted more in the end for these characters or at least just more on the comedic side since that's why I was picking it up.

Finally, the finale! We finally got to see what Lana and Jake had been spending all of these years planning finally happened and what a finale it was. I do wish the HEA was a little bit more, especially more groveling in the end since they went through so much and Logan did that to her at the end of the previous book but she just kind of accepts him when he comes back pretty easily. Anyway, the ending was just as unhinged as the rest of the series and was so hard to put down. I ended up finishing it in one sitting. Now I'm curious about the author's other books if they have any because the writing in the series was pretty addictive even though it is a really dark story.

OMG, what was that flippin ending!? I love that we finally got to see Logan learn the truth and he went ballistic. I just don't get what he does or how we come back from that. But before all of that, we're mostly focused on Lana wrapping up her list as fast as possible before the grand finale. It's so chaotic and I'm curious where the story is going to take us next.

I've been dying to pick up this trilogy but kept pushing it off all year because I wanted it to be completed first. Then when it was, I just was not in a reading mood and didn't feel like it was the best time to pick it up. Finally, I circled back to it and this first book was a lot of fun, and it was a solid start. I'm curious about what some of these guys are doing because some of them are obsessed with Hayden and others just really hate the idea of having a fated mate but we don't get many answers here. It's the first book of a continuous story. I'm only worried about it being a pretty big harem and I'm curious about how much we get in all of their POVs. I hope to get all of their POVs a little more in the future books. Plus, I'm ready for Hazel to start learning the truth because she's pretty clueless at the moment.

I've seen mixed reviews of this one. I honestly picked it up through Audible because I like these books in audio format. They are just a ton of fun and completely unhinged. They do go to some pretty crazy places. Anyway, this one is my favorite so far. I loved Lark and Lachlan, but it is a bit of a slow start. They have a bit of a hot and cold relationship; it does take a long time to get them to actually like one another. But Lark is just so quirky. They have a lot of fun banter too. It's just true chaos and so much fun. It made me so excited to see where the next book takes us because she's a circus performer and you know she is going to have some crazy stories for herself!

I really love how the titles play into each of the parts of the story. Like in here Scarlet Angel is the name that Jake picked for her, and I loved the conversation he had with her about leaking it since he wanted her to have a cool name. It's just a fun little thing here and there. Anyway, this one is kind of another filler book but I feel like it is a little bit more important than the last because we're connecting more to her past/mission. We even managed to end this one in Delaney Grove. I cannot wait to see the truth come out but it's getting wild. We ended this one just as I felt like some big things were about to drop.

It was an easy read; it didn't feel like a filler book even though it is the middle book in the trilogy. But we are kind of falling into a love bubble a little bit in this one. I kind of wish that we had a little bit more world-building because the whole supernatural world here was very interesting to me. But I'm ready to see how this story wraps up in the next book.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 86%.
I loved this series and had a lot of hopes for this book since I didn't love the previous book that much. For the most part, it kind of gave me the same vibes from the first book. We had the chaos and the messiness and I was OBSESSED. But the second she picked the girl she had no interaction with, we didn't have any of her POV, and honestly just felt like she was going to cause chaos and try to tear her pack apart because she gave pick-me vibes I was just done. I didn't care that I wa almost at the end of the book I just couldn't finish it at that point, and unfortunately, I just don't think this series is for me even though I was obsessed with the first book.

Knox! I love that we finally got to check in on him again! It's been so long! I was so bummed that he didn't appear in the epilogue book at all for the Royal Elite series. He definitely did not disappoint. So far, it's my favorite in this specific series and I'm so curious how much they are going to overlap in other books.
