Lord have mercy I want to have a love like them.

I love all the complicated themes and topics the author touched upon and it’s just another book showcasing the author’s amazing ability to write non-nuclear family settings.

Chloe and Warren (our love interests) are both so flawed but so full of heart you just have to root for them and the side characters are so complicated and full of life you have to love them.

I adore this book. It’s so cute and heart wrenching at the same time.

It’s a cute read about a Half-Chinese-Canadian girl who gets wrapped up in the life of Chinese super stars Wei Fangli and Sam Yao. Gracie Reed is such a compelling character.

She’s out there, she’s fun, but she’s also noticeably flawed. It was a just a super cute simple book with a fun plot.

My brain chemistry just rewrote itself.

Piper Bellinger (Cross) is this wonderful, colorful, amazing character. She’s smart, she’s beautiful, and an absolute joy. She’s frivolous, spoiled, high maintenance, but also so incredibly bright and wonderful. Take Elle Woods from legally blonde and Piper is her mirror.

Brendan. Brendan. Brendan. I LOVE HIM. He’s so sweet and kind and gruff but he’s so healthy even when he is flawed. Absolutely wonderful man. Also hella horny for Piper but that’s fine because she’s just as, if not more, horny.

We love a sexually active woman.

Bee is wonderful. I love her. She’s ridiculous and a little over the top. Her fashion sense is mildly appalling but it’s part of her charm. She’s got this amazing, intelligent, and over-active mind and I love her.

Levi is also wonderful. Under his cold dark exterior lies a wonderfully goofy, mildly stupid man who loved cats and is willing to aid them in their shitty needs. A wonderful man. A even better husband. 10/10 approved.

The story was so sweet and once again, a lot of scientifc academia stuff that I was able to follow well enough to understand but probably not enough to fill in all the information. No issues however because as intelligent as the characters are (and the plot) they are also stupid. A wonderful balance.
