 If I could rate this lower, I would. If La Belle Sauvage has one million haters I'm one of them. If La Belle Sauvage has zero haters I'm dead.

On a more serious note though, I was expecting a lot more (read: or anything enjoyable at all) having read this near immediately after the his dark materials trilogy, and can't in good faith recommend this book to anyone.
