Maria encapsulates so many of the different emotional and physical challenges that non ablebodied individuals face on a daily basis. While my conditions are different from hers, I can see traces of my own experiences in this book. To have someone articulate and illustrate similar challenges that i gave in my life and some of the frustrations I have is so meaningful.

What a beautiful story! I would highly recommend the audio version, because the brothers both narrate their own chapters.
