A solid murder mystery!! Truly terrifying if you think about it too hard, but the tongue in cheek and breaking the fourth wall (which i normally dislike) was done in such a way that I really enjoyed

The family drama!!!  There were some structural things I didn’t love, but loved the story and the characters. Def got the Yellowstone vibes.

This was such a fun and funny book! There were twists I wasn’t expected, and I was laughing out loud. I loved Lauren and the questions she was asking just felt so real. I think this would be a great book club book

Just a warm hug ❤️ I love how in Japanese collections of short stories everyone and everything is connected. It all comes full circle

I love them. And I love the father relationships as well. And Riley. And everyone.

This was a rollercoaster. The pacing was weird, the vibes were so good at the beginning. It was magical it was challenging it was adventurous and then it was DARK with kinda no warning? Everyone started dying (but don’t worry death doesn’t matter) and then everyone was lying and poor poor Scarlett. Anyways. So many twists. I wish maybe there were fewer. But it did keep me wanting to keep reading.
