The Right Move by Liz Tomforde

just didn't like this one anywhere as much as mile high and there is 1 reason spesificly that being the inconsistency within these books,
In mile high and the first half of this book Ryan is made out to be super famous, more so than Zanders but in the second half when he and indy come out as a couple properly nobody seems to care he literally kisses her at a game and nobody says a thing there is no media coverage even tho that was a massive part of mile high was the media these people get???
Also Indy's fertility issues feel as if they were just thrown in there to give them a reason to break up like there didn't need to be a third act breakup

This was so close to being 5 stars but come on, 3rd act breakup I would have loved to see Stevie and Sanders work through the media rather than what we got.
I think I have found my new faverouite trope that being pre-existing found family, I love starting a book and there is already a friend group that is like a family in this book we had Zander's and Maddison's family, spesificly his and Logan's friendship I feel like we dont see many male female friendships in books especially like this, along with sanders dressing up as Elsa for his 'neice'
As much as I loved that part of the book this is a romance and it is an amazing one at that, The 300 pages of yearning did not feel that long in fact this book does not feel like it is almost 600 pages at all, because it is written so beautifully

If I was Kimmy I would have not forgiven Xander that easily, but other than that this book was so good.
I loved the Elsa Aiden cameos and seeing them still being all happy and in love is so cute.
As much as I loved this book and the other 3 I don't care for the other 2 main characters/couples so I am gonna finish this series here

This book did not live up to the hype of the first 2, It is much more romance focused which is disappointing because I love the world so much and would have loved it like the other 2 there was a deeper plot and better world building especially with the fates,
Both sisters being in love triangles was boring I wanted more than that and at the same time less.
This book left a lot to be desired and unanswered questions

This book was a hard read not because it is poorly written in fact it is the complete opersite reason In fact this book is incredibly well written it is scary,
Knowing so many people including myself watched abuse take place for year without realising until just 2 years ago is a terrifying thought, The impact social media is having on kids is yet to be understood and this is the start if that understanding.

If I was going to recommend this series I wouldn't I would recomend the broken series a lot more than this series, not because this isn't a good series it is, but you need to read the broken series first,
And this story is just Kyle and Lee's story again but instead of Rachel it is JD

Reading this novella I realised the reason a lot of people are not a fan of the Carter kids series is the fact they haven't read the broken series, I 100% think you have to read that series first there were a lot of references that you could have missed in the first book, such as cam's murder and Kyle's farther being a dick. But with this book it would make no sence without the added context that Hope and Jordan grew up together and the context that we have from that series
