Three short novellas put into one book. All very different stories about people in the same town. All super cute, and emotional at times. I think Olivia really writes her characters well, even with short stories. I love how she always has plus size female main characters, and they are written so believably. As someone who is also plus size, they always make sense to me.

It was meh to me. Not horrible but also not great either. I think some paranormal romances are not for me and engravers/borderline omegaverse is just not my thing lol. But if you like that kinda stuff, you’ll prob like this book. I won’t be continuing the series.

What an ending to this trilogy. The growth of the characters was unreal. The fight scenes, epic. I could easily imagine them. So many tense and emotional parts of this book. Highly recommend.

Well, what can I say. I will buy and listen to anything and everything this author puts out.

“Imagine if we acknowledged that everything we consume is the gift of Mother Earth, we would take better care of what we are given.”

This book like her other works always merge western ecology and Indigenous ecology and wisdom. Indigenous ways of being with the land is something that the colonizers tried to wipe off the face of the earth. Thankfully, they weren’t successful but instead they r brought with them capitalism which brings a “market economy” with it. In this book Robin talks about well what if instead, we used gift economy. Like all Indigenous peoples have used time immemorial. How would the world look if this is what we did in a larger scale instead of hoarding and scarcity?

This short book packs a punch in its 105 pages. I highly recommend listening to Robin narrating it. I need her to write another full length book asap.

At first I was like what is this book about, then near the end I definitely understood. This short book packs a punch for sure. Looking forward to reading the second book in the near future.

Damn this book really hit me in my feels. That feeling when you grow up and your friends seems to be ahead in life with certain things like careers, relationships, marriage and all that. It’s a sucky feeling feeling like you have been left behind or will never get that. Ofc all romance books have happen endings but this book really felt like a personal attack lmao. I know I’m not the only one that feels this way either! Loved this book tho. The witty banter, the spice. All around good cowboy romcom!

What a timely book. *cue sad face* this was released in September 2024 and it’s scary to see how this book pertains to so many things going on in various countries right now. History truly does repeat itself.

A cute lil cowboy/ex nhl player romcom with some very good spice. Needed this one after reading some heavy non fiction books lately.
