Honestly don’t know what I can say without giving spoilers but it was so good. It kept me up all night reading. The suspense was amazing, I needed to know what was going to happen and how. There were small bits that were predictable but it genuinly didn’t matter because the journey getting there was so good and interesting. I loved every bit of it and need to pick up the next book asap!
Tallulah has a tough past but decides to take a job as an au pair to a famous hockey player. The two heat up romantically and we see them skirting around commitment.
The reviews of this are awful for no reason. I get some of the cringe parts were cringe but most romances are in my opinion. The third act break up is where it lost me. I really don’t think one mean comment should be the end to a relationship. And then the getting back together as well was not great. The smut was pretty good, there was a couple icks in it.

A group of relative strangers meet nightly for a cigarette break in a very old graveyard. One night they find a fresh hole dug. The group together but in their own ways decide to investigate where this grave came from.
I enjoyed this and would recommend it. I love a quick read like this one that gives me an entire feel of a full novel. I may have a second pass at this one eventually bc I got through it so quickly I feel like I didn’t retain enough

This book is a political analogy where the animals of a farm over through the humans but we see the inevitable changes that power gives to a person or in this case…a pig.
The book 100% did what it was meant to do. The analogy was loud and clear. And we’re terrifyingly living in it. I wanted to make sure to pick this one up because of its banned status but I will without a doubt be having my teens read it at the appropriate age
The story of a girl and her animals taking a walk in the woods near Christmas time and she has a vision that she vows her life to.
This was a cute children’s book, but far too many odes to Christianity. I listened to the audio book so didn’t get to see the illustrations but will for sure be checking out later.
This novella goes into Four deciding which faction he wants to choose, his first day as a Dauntless initiate and a little more in depth about his father.
I truly think that it was almost copy and paste Tris’s first day with the obvious differences- him being a lot stronger and more traumatized. I didn’t feel like I learned anything new in this bit that wasn’t already deduced from the first book
The second book in this series follows Gwyn and Wells, the cousin and brother of our main characters in the Ex Hex. Wells is new to town and opens a similar magical wares shop right across from Gwyn’s which leads to an interesting rivalry. The two of them grow closer investigating why Gwyn’s magic has been suffering lately.
I loved this one. The first book was great but this was AMAZING. Thanks to Alicia for letting me borrow her copy, I will say it’s my favorite romance of the year. I resonated a lot more with Gwyn than I did with Vivi in the first book and Wells is much more my type. Enemies to lovers may be my favorite trope. I loved that this kept me giggling the whole time. The spice wasn’t very spicy but what we did get was really a great time.
