I think I liked this one more than the first one. Still overusing the words “organic/inorganic”, though. 

The timeline jumps in both books were kind of confusing for me, but didn’t spoil it.

It’s a cliche detective/ME vs serial killer book. Still enjoyed it overall. 

The author loves the word “inorganic/organic”. It was used a ton. 

I liked the call-back to actual serial killer cases.

So happy to be back in Bishops Lacey. Loved the story and it did explain some things from the previous books. I felt it was darker, maybe because Flavia is growing up, maybe because I haven’t read the series in a while…
