Witchcraft: A History in Thirteen Trials by Marion Gibson

The best book I've ever read on the history of witchcraft (and I've read a lot). Gibson looks further afield and at more recent witch trials that are happening around the world, creating an accessible, enlightening, but also sensitive account of witchcraft throughout the years.

A mysterious page turner that will keep you hanging till the very end! If you think you know where this is going, no you don't. Some parts could be somewhat repetitive but otherwise this might be my favourite crime book

Could have been shorter. Could have been less rascist and antisemitic.
