The last in the Widow's Island series. One of the better ones with a surprising turn of events.

I don't remember ever having read this book growing up. The book was really good with such a touching ending. Somewhat of a tear-jerker for me.

I vaguely remember reading this as a youngster, and I don't think I appreciated it then. Now, it has such a deeper meaning for me. A tear-jerker for me as a grown up.

If you watched the movie, you'll be disappointed in the book.

It was okay. Not something that would make me watch the movie, though.

I didn't care for the movie and I don't know what made me think the book would be any better.

I liked the ending, but getting there was tedious.

Cute story with illustrations. A good book to read to your children or granchildren.
