This was the first book to make me fall in love with reading! It was a heartbreaking story that stuck in my head for days.
I really enjoyed Colleen’s writing style, I think the book was easy and quick to read.
I loved seeing Atlas and Lily’s relationship in the flashback scenes and I’m hoping to see their relationship develop even more in the sequel.
Ryle is actually the biggest piece of shit going. I hate him for how he manipulated Lily into taking him back so many times. I feel like this book really helped me understand why women stay in abusive relationships as I believed Ryle’s apology every time Lily did. I think the overall message of this book is really important and it really gives perspective on what some people have to go through with domestic abuse.
The ending of this book made me sob so hard I couldn’t see through my tears.
