Caveman Alien's Enemy by Calista Skye

So enjoyable. I really have no complaints at all.

Kyandros is very much… a dragon. His POV was the best part of the book because we actually get to see into the mind of a dragon… and it’s exactly what you’d expect. Murderous. Evil. An ego the size of the entire universe. He’s a very easily hatable character which makes watching him actually become… slightly more human like that much more enjoyable. He doesn’t do it quick though. It’s not until way later in the book that I actually believe he could be a truly possible love interest, that’s how hatable he is. I appreciate that because it works for this story. The author didn’t just make a “good dragon”, that would have been lame and predictable, but she actually made a truly evil character who was able to find love and someone to love him as well. He’s still a believable dragon through everything, even at the end.

Mia is a lovely character, a bit too sweet and naive, but she balances out her man’s evil in a perfect way. She’s also so smart and I enjoyed every time she explained something about aerospace or any other topic she was familiar with. She’s a subtle and very specific kind of smarty, more toned down than some of the other girls, and I appreciate that.

Lots of lore in this one too, but that was really expected as the dragon love story book.
