It took me almost a week to read this book, not because I wasn't enjoying it but because I was enjoying it so much that I didn't want it to end. I have fallen so deeply in love with this world and these characters that I just wanted to stay immersed in it all forever. Schwab's writing is just so dark and rich and vibrant, I truly felt like I was living in the story alongside the characters. I grew to love all the characters even more in this book, they each bring something so special to the story and each one of them is so complex. I have a special place in my heart for Lila though, she is just so badass and I love her to pieces! This book was such a roller coaster of emotions for me, you name it and I felt it. It was so action packed and the story took so many twists and turns that at times I truly despaired as to what the outcome of the story would be. But despite some heartbreaking moments which I knew were inevitable, the ending was just so perfect and I couldn't have imagined a better conclusion to one of my new favourite series!
