The Owl at The End of The World by Stas Rolla

4.0

While fairly short, this book packs quite a punch. It paints a very vivid image of a post-apocalyptic world, and the language is wonderfully, beautifully bleak throughout, from the descriptions of this dying world, to the detailed, sometimes discomforting descriptions of Gray translating this world into art in various forms. While I would have loved to have spent longer in this world, and with Gray on her journey, to see more of this world and the hints and breadcrumbs that were sprinkled throughout the story, it is a solid story that kept me hooked from start to finish, and even though there were a few loose threads the ending was more than satisfying.
