Jake has to do some housekeeping. It's funny, but all the machinations are indeed as dumb as he finds them. I loved seeing his responses. I'm glad Meira is opening up, and the naming of his new buddies is still hilarious. The number of sycophants is frustrating, but I'm glad at least one learns how to interact with him better. The Sword Saint is harsh, and the situations with Jacob and Casper are sad. I understand Casper, but Jacob kind of made me angry. I need to read more.
