This story has many of my favorite tropes, like all the stories in this extended series, but I especially enjoy the grumpy/sunshine dynamic of our leads. The pace is basically perfect, letting us get to know the characters very well before romance really happens. The romance itself was very gentle and subtle, like if you blinked you’d miss it. This makes for an easy and comfortable read. Some action here and there throughout the book breaks things up nicely and makes sure that we’re actually going somewhere with the story line. Just a wonderful read!
