Best parts of this books:

- Deja, she’s a really tough woman but when she reveals her fear and weakness it’s so easy to care for her.
- Fe’rox, funny but also rather stoic, I enjoy his personality as a compliment to Deja’s as he really make her personality shine without being lost.
- Lots of surprises, very unpredictable. Every time I thought I knew what would happen it would be something completely different. I appreciate being surprised by plot points because it honestly doesn’t happen often.
- LORE! So much more to enjoy while also giving us more questions!
- Exciting fights and suspenseful action scenes, I was on the edge of my seat in quite a few moments there but especially at the end.
- A nod to found families at the end in more ways than one, I just love that trope.

This series hasn’t disappointed me yet! I just love everything about it!
