To be honest, I didn’t have high hopes for this book to begin with. I randomly picked it up, and would’ve much rather read “Just Kids” first…but I actually ended up enjoying this one. It is more so written in the form of journal entries; which I definitely found myself in awe of. There was just something about all the information she was able to provide us, that made me appreciate my own journaling. This book tackled a lot of grief; whether it was her husband, or items that she lost a long the way. As you read more, you start to understand the way loss impacts you in more ways than one. Where you can be utterly distraught, yet find so much meaning within. This book was written in a way where her dreams, and reality were interwoven…and I truly loved that.
