Her Alien Savior by Presley Hall

This one was not as good as the first for me, which is why it’s been so long since I’ve read this series. I had tried to read this book right after I finished the first one about a year ago, but I just couldn’t get through it. This time I really pushed myself and got through the boring parts. I wasn’t able to really connect to Jaro or Sadie, which is weird because I have anxiety and I thought I’d connect to her in that way, but it’s not shown very much. She spends time talking about how anxious she is and how much she has to fight the anxiety, but it just wasn’t explored much more than that.
The romance was… eh? Just eh. A few good scenes here and there, but because I didn’t care much for these characters I just wasn’t interested in their romance.
