I love a short book that has a lot to say.
This was very readable. It felt in many ways like a surreal prequel to 1984.
I feel like I could write an essay on who each animal character represented. In particular, Boxer, who I felt physically sick about when I realised how his story was going to turn out.
Unfortunately a lot of the points raised by Orwell here are still incredibly relevant in Britain today.
A great bitesized classic.
