My rating really is for the world that was set up in this first book, I appreciate the world building as it really makes me want to read more about it. The main characters are alright, they’re not especially exciting or interesting but they work fine as an opening couple. The spice is… good-ish. I prefer a different style of smut writing but this wasn’t bad or anything, just not as exciting as others I’ve read.
