Oh shiny

I loved the references to the Touch of Power series. Lord Benji of course gets cuter. The expanding friends group is nice, especially with how hard it is for Ash to be around others for long. The jaybirds are cute and I love their temperament. This is an uplifting series, or it makes me happy when I read it. I look forward to more in this series.
