Caveman Alien's Pride by Calista Skye
4.0
This one was not a favorite of mine… but it wasn’t the worst. 3.7⭐️s for me, rounding up to 4.
It feels like a lot happens in this book but also not very much? It’s hard to explain. There is a ton of spicy scenes between our leads, to the point I thought it was actually hurting the story… and I don’t ever think that. But because quite a few things happened plot wise, I still did enjoy this one in a way. Aurora is a fun lead and I enjoyed following her, but her caveman I was not a big fan of. He seems to have the same issues for me that the first one did… not really taking seriously the value of his woman or the other women in the face of his tribe. He redeems himself, of course, but his lapse in judgement did give me a bad taste in my mouth. With him came an expanse of knowledge about the world and some more skills and a new environment for them so I’ll let go how much I didn’t enjoy him.
Things are getting interesting in regards to the actual plot though, so I’ll be jumping right into the next book in hopes that we keep on that plot train.
