Ehh this book was okay. I found it a little boring in parts and although I was really looking forward to the whole ‘groundhog day’ idea it just didn’t make much sense and felt a little bit pointless. Like what was she doing wrong? What was the big life lesson? Who knows. And obviously I KNOW it’s fictional but it just didn’t make sense for people to genuinely believe Mae. In real life she would’ve been sent to a mental hospital.
Obviously romance was a big part of this books plot too, but I feel like it didn’t fit together well with the whole ‘time travel’ thing. I did like the romance aspect and the relationship between Mae and Andrew but I feel like the book was lacking something and I can’t really put my finger on what it is.
I did like all of the characters but I think because there was so many of them they lacked depth and were a bit two dimensional.
Overall this book was a cute Christmas rom com but I will probably never read it again😭
