I was honestly rather disappointed with this book after loving the first two in this series. I just couldn’t force myself to be invested in the characters, and I feel like the plot (which there seemed to be a lack of) simply wasn’t that interesting.
The first half of the book was incredibly slow, I enjoyed the middle portion a little more but then the ending felt rushed.
I didn’t really care for the main characters back stories and the third act breakup only lasted for two chapters. I can admit that there was definitely some character development and I did feel more for them towards the end.
I did enjoy when the characters from the previous books made an appearance, but that wasn’t super often.
I’m hoping this was just a little blip in the series as I am still looking forward to reading the next one.
