5.0

the fact this and wildfire have both been over 4 stars is making me tempted to read icebreaker even if I have vowed to never touch that book bc it is a crime to figure skating.

1 - halle is perfect in every way

2 - the sene where Henry asks her not to touch him gently and to be firm because gentile touch makes him feel overwhelmed

3 - in general the way henry talks and the way he communicates what he needs from Halle, overall he struggles with it but with her he can put it into words and we see this the most at the end when he is distancing himself from her and she give him space but in reality he needed her

4 - the found family aspect of this book is perfect we see it a little in the first 2 books but seeing the way they take Halle in as their own even when her and Henry are not really together kind of its complicated

5 - fuck you will

6 - The diversity in this book is incredible, Henry being AuDHD coded but Hannah grace putting a disclaimer that he can be if that is what the reader sees in him as a lot of the traits are based off her own and she started writing him before she was diagnosed with ADHD and autism, Henry having 2 moms but it not being a big deal, the oldest sibling rep as well with Halle being in charge of her whole family we see thes with her having to protect her little sister who explicitly does have ADHD and Dyslexia as well as the way her mom talks about chisstmas being a disaster because Halle didn't go.

I don't have a single negative thing to say about this book other than can we have like 3 more chapters of them just being happy
