This was my first time listening to an audiobook and I would definitely recommend it for this series. The narrator did a great job at making me feel immersed in the Bridgerton world.
I loved the TV show, so I thought I’d give the books a go too, and I have to say that this is one of the odd times that a TV adaptation was better than the book! I definitely missed having the other characters around but there were still a few scenes with the Bridgerton brothers, which I enjoyed.
I would probably say I like Simon as a character more than Daphne. I feel like his backstory is written well and it really shows in his character development. My problem with Daphne is that one scene, if you know you know, and I can’t quite look past it.
