It must be amazing to live in Laini Taylor's head. The world she created was beautiful, lush and vivid. Lazlo Strange is a great character, but I feel like we hardly got to know him. The book, though great, was a tad overwritten. There were too many words and not enough action. I still liked it, but I'm not a super fan and it's going to be a while before I pick up Muse of Nightmares.
