This book was deeply upsetting. I considered putting it down and not finishing it multiple times. I think this book is good, it's well written, but I don't think I enjoy engaging with highly traumatized protagonists, which this book has. This book does not have a happy ending, and, as I recall, it didn't have a happy beginning or middle either. I think this is a good book for people who want to wallow, or who want to read about someone who's dealt with similar experiences to their own. This book was not for me, but I think it was still good. I think.
