I swear TJR tricks me in to thinking her characters are real every time. I actually really enjoyed the interview writing style in this book. I think it was interesting to see the inconsistencies between the way each member of the band told their story.
I love Daisy so much. I think she’s such a complex and misunderstood woman who never really had someone to push her in the right direction. Billy was a bit of a mystery to me. I feel like he was the one who had the most inconsistencies in his story telling, and he usually said something completely different to the rest of the band. I think he’s very unsure of himself.
I loved Camila a lot and I think she’s a queen, BUT, I think she should’ve dropped Billy the moment he first cheated on her. I think Billy felt obliged to get clean and get better for Camila purely because they had a child. I really think Daisy and Billy belong together, they understood each other more than anyone else. If Daisy wasn’t using I guarantee Billy would’ve ended up with her. The right person, the wrong time.

The plot twist at the end of this book really shocked me. It made me rethink everything I’d read and what every member of that band had said. Plus I sobbed like a baby.
I love TJR’s writing so much, it really does take you to another world. I cannot wait to watch this on the TV!
