Oh my goooood! Why haven’t I read this sooner?!? The book has literally been on my shelf for about a year now and I’ve picked it up a few times but always opted for something else.
This story is incredible!
The world building is thorough but not dreadfully boring.
The characters are fleshed out and everyone has a complexity to them that you don’t see during their first introduction.
THE P L O T T W I S T IS AMAZING, while someone probably guessed it; I was wayyyy off in my theory but the plot twist itself isn’t pulled out of a hat. When thinking back, there are clues and connections everywhere.
The book ended on somewhat of a cliffhanger, enough to want you to read the next book but not so much that you need to start it right this second. The end also tied up a lot of unanswered questions and simultaneously left hope for our main characters and their journey.
I can’t wait for book two!
