Firstly, I have to say that I really did like the premise for this one. The idea of an author falling into their own fantasy world was one that immediately caught my attention. I also found the writing flowed very well, especially right at the beginning, and overall it made for a quick read with humour, and flashes of potential. Unfortunately, it was the characters - particularly the author- that lost me more than anything, as I just couldn't find any connection to them, and for the most part I found myself with more questions than anything.
