I'd been putting off reading this book because, I mean, who ever says, "Hmmm. I feel like reading a book about the Holocaust." But, I'm glad I finally read it. I must say, I finished it last night before bed and had a lot of trouble sleeping because of it. I would hope anyone who reads it has trouble sleeping, though - it's painful, haunting, and worthy of every award it received and then some.
