Unfortunately boring.

Would have loved to see Cristabel's relationship to her brother but the moment to get there took far too long that I can't even hold out. There are other books to read, and somehow I think the payoff, had I held on, would not be sufficient to make it worthwhile. But mostly it's the style - empty and little bit lifeless.

Also I'm in no mood for affairs. It's being telegraphed and I know foreshadowing when I see it.
