The blurb didn't appeal to me, but I picked this up because I love the author's other work. The beginning was both bizarre and captivating. The way Verse is connected to his previous lives was astonishing and, to me, original. I'm not a fan of the ghost, but he did help some. Teris just made me sad. The ending felt like both an ending and a beginning, because a balance formed. I'm curious on what will happen next. Read with Kindle Unlimited. Review did not sync from Amazon.
