Oh my gosh, the premise for this book was super cute! You have Freya who comes from California to Hollyridge to run this massive 5-star hotel for her a-hole father. She's super into Christmas movies and has holiday spirit to spare.
Then there's Finn. He's less thrilled about Christmas and is stressed with trying to save his grandparents' inn ... ironically enough, right next door to Freya's hotel.
When both enter in a holiday competition with a hefty prize attached, the Jingle Wars begin. And sparks fly. And fly. And fly.
I loved how, even though Finn tries to hate Freya because of who she is, there is no denying the attraction. This isn't one of those books where the characters clearly hate each other and then don't. The attraction is there right from the start and it's only a matter of time before they give into it.
If you're looking for a Hallmark-y holiday rom-com, this is it! I can't wait to read the second book in January!!
