Nope didn't expect that.

At this point I think I'd enjoy a prequel or mythology text from this world explaining the real history of Aether and those attached to him. I didn't expect the revelation at the end (not the identities, those were obvious). I also didn't expect the revelation from Darkness. My preconceptions have been dashed. Highly enjoyable, and I hope to enjoy more in this series.
