My second favourite book from the series! This one had me hooked from start to finish, I couldn’t put it down. I especially loved that we got all 3 POVs.
I’ve seen a lot of people say that it seemed like a filler book, which to some extent I agree with, but I don’t really see the issue with that. I think it actually answered a lot of questions about the characters pasts, and although the flashbacks were a big part of the book they added so much more to the plot.
The only thing I was at first unsure of was wether or not I liked the fact that Warner and Juliette had met as children. But when it made the point that they fall in love every time they meet each other, it made me love their story even more. It just proved that they were destined to be together.
I was SO annoyed that Anderson was still alive, I feel like Max and Evie were big enough villains and Anderson didn’t really need to be brought back.
