This was a 4 star read bumped up to 5 stars for me because of the main character. Amina is a tall, wily, fierce, foul-mouthed, multiple-times-divorced pirate captain in her 40s who makes do with a bad knee. She’s also a mother and a devout Muslim. I loved her immediately and found her so easy to root for. Can’t wait for the sequel!
