Just a great starter to a series! With some of my favorite tropes, such as “mars needs women” and alien abduction.

This is written very sex positive, as our lead Serena is a cam girl and another character is a porn star. As she’s pretty sex positive and comfortable in her body and sexuality, Serena makes for a great introduction to sex for our male lead. She teaches him a lot physically, but also some basic biology as well as how to treat a woman. I like seeing her influence with him as his behavior changes and his values are tested.

Rynn is a great male lead, with a protective and confident personality as well as an innocence afforded to him just due to their situation. He knows nothing about women, but boy is he eager to learn. His eagerness is very endearing here where it could have come off as aggressive if written poorly. The writer did a good job of making us actually care about him as a lead, showing what kind of life he has and how loyal he is to his tribe, but also how caring he is of Serena and all the other women. Caring about him really makes all of the spicy scenes so much more enjoyable.

And don’t even get me started on the spice! It’s just… so good. Very intimate and passionate and so new feeling as Rynn has a lot to learn. The speed they went at also made sense to me, with everything going on. There was a good balance between spice and plot, good moments of action and drama with appropriate moments of reprieve.

Quite a bit of lore as well! But still so many mysteries… like the temple and how that works. I have theories, but I’m so excited to learn more. There isn’t an obvious answer to things, which I like as it truly feels mysterious and gets my mind working trying to figure it all out.
