This book is SO CLOSE to perfect.

I love Ella Maven’s writing style, she just pulls me into the world so well and is really able to make a slightly shorter book full of detail and not feel rushed. Reading this reminds me why I was able to get through the other series so fast, everything is just paced so well and makes me want to read more because the characters are written to make me love them AND there is always an overarching plot that I’m invested in.

The spice for this one was delightful, especially the first scene… it was slow and beautiful and very intimate, loved it. Kutzal and Trix banter a lot and it’s adorable, I love it. They’re rougher dynamic also makes their sweet moments that much sweeter.
